Bring
in examples from Fine Art, Photography, and Film of the figure as identity. In
class, use the figure to draw gesture and poses which communicates the
psychological aspects of: Identity / 1st person, The “Other” / 2nd
person, Context / 3rd person.
Think about the psychological aspects of drawing the figure.
Create
a sequence/series of drawings of the figure. Construct a short narrative,
moving from 1st to 2nd to 3rd person. Focus on
revealing the identity of the character through an unfolding narrative. Display
your narrative visually by presenting the images in sequence.
